 Advantages and general conditions of use of Nicolon^® Truck Covers -

   Asphalt Tarp - 20409

• Generally replaces coated PVC tarp product.
• Fabric is not impermeable, but does not repel water and does not allow much air through.
• Has a very tight weave and is much lighter than coated PVC.
• Easier for hand cranked tarp winders and for single operator use.
• By using this style of tarp the asphalt generally gets a hard skin on top under the tarp which keeps the rest of the asphalt hot.
• Around 6 months life.

 Sand & Gravel - 20619

• Approximate density (Shade 85%).
• Designed for sand and gravel haulage.
• Has good airflow (not calendared).
• Can be used for waste/garbage but most operators prefer high airflows (bigger apertures for waste markets).
• Suitable for wind up systems.

 Garbage/Waste - 27109

• Used mainly for garbage containment, lower strength.
• Has large aperture and high airflow.
• The leno weave holds it together.

27209

•  Similar to and sometimes called guerrilla mesh.
• Can not see through this mesh, so it is sometimes used to replace vinyl (coated PVC).
• Has low airflow.

27319

• Very durable.
• 100% Polypropylene woven with a plain weave and a tentered finish.
• No selvedge edge.
• Has good airflow.

Multimesh - 25305

• Used by waste haulers.
• Is a tentered PVC. The tentering locks the PVC down flat holding the weave together.
• Can be HF welded.
• Used where tarps need to be tied down.
