Excel Nonwovens merged with TenCate Nicolon Australia in January 2007 to become TenCate Australia.

TenCate Australia is an affiliated company of Royal Ten Cate, which is based in the Netherlands. Royal Ten Cate is a 300 year old manufacturer of technical textiles. TenCate operates in the United States, Europe, Asia and Australia.
